Who I am…
My tattoo journey started on a skateboard. Back in the '80s, I'd cruise down to the local gas station, not for snacks, but for the skate and biker mags. But it wasn't just the edgy designs that captivated me. I was equally drawn to the pages of National Geographic, where I discovered the incredible diversity of cultures and their traditions of body modification. Seeing how people around the world used tattoos and other forms of adornment to express their identity, their beliefs, and their stories ignited a spark in me. This exploration of different cultures and their traditions of body art led me to delve deeper into the world of tattooing itself. I started researching the history and techniques, becoming fascinated by the artistry and the rich culture surrounding it. This fascination ultimately led me to pursue an apprenticeship, and I was fortunate enough to land one near where I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. It was a classic street shop, where walk-ins were the bread and butter. That fast-paced environment allowed me to learn quickly and develop the diverse range of styles that I now love to work in. Over the years, I've had the amazing opportunity to work with both incredible clients and coworkers. I feel that I’m still constantly learning from both the experienced artists and the up-and-comers alike. Now, after over two decades in the industry, I can honestly say that almost everything I have, and almost everyone I know, I contribute to tattooing. I’ve met so many amazing people from every walk of life, and I'll never take what tattooing has given me for granted. Today, I enjoy working in a variety of styles, but I particularly love American Traditional, Neo-Traditional, Blackwork, and bold illustration. I love to work with classic imagery but thrive off my clients' ideas. My goal as a tattoo artist is to bring my clients' visions to skin as best as possible. From start to finish, I want your experience to be the perfect one for you. Explore my portfolio to see more of my work, and let's connect!
